Worth the Money : Weber 6570001 Genesis S-330 Liquid Propane Gas Grill, Stainless Steel

If you're buying a grill and can fit $1k into your budget, look no further. Received the S-330 just over a week ago and can find nothing to say other than it's the best I've seen in this size grill, bar none. All things - every fitting, every part - is first class.

Assembly is straight forward, though a bit time consuming, but I enjoy "putting things together", as my wife says. It is heavy, but one median male can perfect the assembly process. I did, no problem. The delivery company, Abf in my case, couldn't get their truck into our gated community, so I met him surface the gate. He and I loaded it onto my pickup. It weighs approximately 200 pounds, but the box is huge and allowed me to slide it off the tailgate, stand it on its end, then I just laid it down flat and slid it into the stable where I assembled the grill. No big deal. Once on the casters, I was home free.

The sear burner does steaks the way steak should be. Wouldn't be without it. And the side burner is indeed handy, often negating in house cooking altogether. I like that. We have a covered patio which will keep it wholly out of Florida's weather; I can see this thing persisting forever with a few internal parts substituted a few years down the road. It's built like a tank.

Purchase the Weber 7519 Gas Grill Rotisserie - it's a must have. Be careful. Amazon is a bit ambiguous describing Weber rotisseries. The 7519 is the only one which will work with the Genesis 300 series. Learned that the hard way.

Buy it, you'll love it.

Super Grill - Super Bang For Your Buck! *Updated Review* : The Sharper Image 8147SI Stainless-Steel Super Grill with Interchangeable Nonstick Plates

My wife was wanting a waffle iron, but I wanted something more. As a kid, we had one that was a waffle iron/griddle. It could be used as a waffle iron (of course) or could be opened all the way, the plates flipped and the other side was a smooth grill plate. We always used it for pancakes. I was seeing for something similar. After seeing at any others, I found this at a local chain store.

Upon first inspection, I had a qoute with was the study booklet. Though the English is decent, it doesn't tell you much. The only thing it is good for is the legal stuff and to show you how to convert the cooking plates. As far as giving study about how to cook with it, you can note just about as much by seeing at the controls. Because the instructions don't give any clue as to where to put the controls for separate kinds of meats, sandwiches or anyone it is that you're wanting to cook, it's all guess work. I've only had it for a concentrate weeks, so I haven't used it enough to know where to set it. The plates fit loosely. I don't know if it legitimately makes any difference, if not, it just looks sloppy. Finally, as a waffle iron/grill, it doesn't heat evenly. The top plate does not get as hot as the bottom, therefore the lowest of the waffle gets brown before the top. I have yet to use it as a griddle, so I don't know how well the Left side controls work.

So far I must rate this product as Ok. It does what it says it will do (as far as I have used it) but as with a lot of more modern products, the workmanship is sloppy and is indicative of being a product of overseas manufacture.
